Poetry Placards

In response to Phoebe Stuckes’ anthology ‘One Girl Gremlin’, these A2 prints explored capturing the voice of the author along side the descriptive, emotive imagery used in three separate poems. This project challenged the scale at which I work as well as how image and text can interact as each references the other.

For each composition, the linework was compiled and coloured digitally from scans of the original A2 pen and ink illustrations.
