A person with long hair wearing a red cloak, walking towards a castle on a hill under a dark, cloudy sky, surrounded by ornate yellow rope-like designs.

This cover for Stormkeeper by Jacinta Tomas was made in response to a live brief set by Harper Collins during my final year at Falmouth University. Working in collaboration with graphic design Milly Drinkwater, this project focused on translating the text’s Portuguese themes alongside ideas of hydromancy, drought, and the main feature of a strong female protagonist. The final images amalgamate pen and ink, monoprint textures, and digital techniques.
